Mahindra KUV100 NXT:
Have you become tired of your old KUV? Are you thinking of getting a new one? Are you having trouble deciding which one to buy? Do you have a lot of questions about which KUV to buy? We have all of the answers to your inquiries. Let’s take a look at the Mahindra KUV 100 NXT, which is spanking new.
The Mahindra KUV100 NXT facelift was released in India earlier this year at a meager price. The redesigned micro or compact SUV is still available in four models: K2, K4, K6, and K8, with the top-end model seating for eight people and the rest offering a six-seater arrangement. Although the automobile is actually a big hatchback, Mahindra & Mahindra is marketing it as a small SUV. The automobile continues to compete with the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, a compact crossover, and premium hatchbacks such as the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Maruti Suzuki Swift. The KUV100 NXT offers a nice balance of comfort and convenience amenities, as well as a robust safety package. The design has been somewhat updated, and the engine performance has been improved.
Mahindra KUV100 NXT Design:
The Mahindra KUV100 NXT is a sub-4m vehicle that is shorter in length than the Maruti Suzuki Swift but has a larger height and width. The design is based on Mahindra’s XUV500, which is a bigger SUV. The bumper has received a lot of attention, and the front fascia has been aggressively styled. The front fascia features a slimmer radiator grille as well as vertically positioned chrome-finished fillets. Although the headlamps drop off at the end, practically filling the entire length of the hood, the pulled-back aspect is a great touch. The rectangular fog lamps are nicely nestled within the black plastic covering for a tough appearance. The cladding adds to the aesthetic, and the side boasts pronounced body creases starting at the A-pillar, as well as squarish wheel arches. The rear grab grip is mounted to the rear quarter glass. Although there are chrome polished fog lamps and side skirts, an integrated spoiler, nicely designed taillights, and a crisp body line running over the tail lamps and going till the wheel arches, the rear resembles the Hyundai Grand i10. From most perspectives, the rear profile resembles that of a hatchback.

Interior:
The interior of the Mahindra KUV 100 NXT features a premium dual-tone concept. The inside is predominantly grey, with black accents on the center console, door pads, dashboard, and steering wheel. The steering wheel and center console of the KUV100 NXT are similarly finished in silver. The center console is rectangular and long, with dashboard-mounted air conditioning vents and a touch screen infotainment unit, and temperature controls positioned vertically to the left. The gear is controlled via a mounted knob on the right-hand side, which saves space. The glove box is located on the passenger side for storage purposes, and the 3+3 configuration is extremely distinctive. This is made feasible by the position of the gear lever. An additional bench is located in front of the gear lever, which is a plus. With the exception of the K2 and K2+ trims, there is a 5-seater configuration option. In total, there are 243 liters of boot capacity, which can be expanded to 473 liters.

Exterior:
The NXT has a completely new face, which is the most major design modification. For the
overall aesthetic, it has a vertically stacked design. To give the car a crossover aspect, the headlamps have been redesigned, and the front bumper has been changed from a traditional to a sportier style. The alloy wheels/wheel covers of the NXT have been redesigned, and the rear tail lamps have been widened and now have silver inlays. The towering design features a high bonnet and a strong shoulder line that emphasises the car’s short length.
Tech:
The KUV100 NXT is packed with a number of features from Mahindra & Mahindra. There are both follow-me-home and lead-me-home headlights and height adjuster features for the headlights, a rear wiper, a rear defogger, and manually adjustable ORVMs. A 12V power outlet, LED inside illumination, and a 3.5-inch display screen is among the other features. The integrated entertainment system, driver information system, hands-free calling, Bluetooth audio, AUX, USB, and steering-mounted phone and audio controls are found here. The Mahindra BLUE SENSE app is compatible with the Mahindra KUV 100 NXT, which has four speakers and two tweeters.
Storage: There is a total of 243 liters of boot space.
Mileage: The KUV100 NXT has a fuel efficiency of 17.5 km per liter.
Performance:
The MFalcon D75 Turbocharger and MFalcon G80 MPFI engines are standard on the KUV100 NXT. The former is an 1198 cc mill that produces 77 BHP and 190 Nm of peak torque with FWD, while the latter has the same displacement but produces 82 BHP and 115 Nm with FWD. Thus, the engine is strong, and the overall performance is satisfactory.
