2016 Tata introduced the Tata Hexa model. In recent times the company discontinued the BS4 Hexa. At Tata Auto Expo 2020 announced they announced the launch of BS6-compliant Hexa Safari Edition. The Hexa Safari Version will be based on the all-wheel-drive show and highlights minor restorative upgrades to make it look sturdy. In the interior of it, it comes with a black-beige interior color theme. The BS6-compliant Hexa will proceed to use the existing 2.2-litre Varicor motor that’s likely to create 156PS and 400Nm. The advanced-looking newbie comes stacked with all the strong highlights which are planning to offer assistance in all the terrains such as AWD system, Land Rover’s Landscape Response System, and Super Drive Modes (Auto, Dynamic, Comfort, and Rough Street). Tata Hexa has an advanced next-generation 2.2L Varicor 400 diesel engine matched with a six-speed manual and automatic change to Super drive modes. It gives the car 400 Nm torsion and 156 PS Power. With the torque-on-demand feature, Hexa comes with an adaptive All-Wheel Drive, which can be electronically controlled.


Hexa BS6 has a 7inch touch screen with voice command recognition and Smartphone unification with the ConnectNext app. It comes with 10 JBL speakers, four-door speakers, four loudspeakers, a center speaker, and a powerful subwoofer amplifier for an acoustical experience. Hexa has an advanced Driver Information System, a new-gen twin-pod with a 3,5inch TFT screen, and a multi-colored graphical user interface.



Tata Hexa has enhanced comfort in all senses. It comes with an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat. Automatic temperature control with unique airflow and speed through AC vent in each row also comes with dual HVAC. Hexa is a six-seater Flexi seat, i.e., other than the drivers and the passenger’s seat, the other four seats come with multiple folding configurations, providing a 671L pace.

It also has a smart USB port to charge your phone and retractable sunblinds for 2nd-row windows.


Hexa comes with absolute safety measures. It has six airbags (2 in front, two at the sides, and two at the curtains). It also has Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with roll-over alleviation and ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution to enhance braking at a distance to ensure vehicle stability. There is automatic Hill Hold Control (HHC) and Hill Descent Control to prevent the vehicles from rolling backward on an inclined surface. And also, it has a reverse parking system with a rearview camera and sensor.
